Prep: Facemasks

I'm all about organic beauty products.  I mean why put harmful chemicals on your face when you can find similar products that are organic?  My favorite brand, which I'm sure most of you have heard of is Lush.  Lush makes some great products that are organic and fresh.  One of my favorite products from Lush is their fridge masks, which last about 3 weeks in the fridge.

PREP: GLOSSIER REVIEW

This is a fashion blog. I know. But Glossier is more than just a beauty brand. I mean lets start off with the packaging. The packaging itself is a fashion statement, from the unique pink bubble wrap pouch, to all the cute stickers that are included with every purchase. When I saw all the reviews on Allure and Elle, I was skeptical on whether or not Glossier's boy brow would actually live up to the hype. But it just looked so convenient to use and if it was as amazing as everyone said, I would have a new brow routine that took less than 3 minutes. With my purchase of boy brow, I also got the milky jelly cleanser which is a 2 in 1 product. It removes all makeup and leaves you with clean skin. After being able to use both products for a couple of days. My verdict is: I love it. The boy brow makes my unruly brows, groomed in less than a minute. It also fills them in but it leaves them looking completely natural. And at a price of $16, it is cheaper than other popular brow products like Benefit's Gimme Brow. The milky jelly cleanser, does a good job removing my makeup and works well with my clarisonic. But it can take up to 3 weeks for your skin to adjust to new skincare products, so I would need more time to use this product. Glossier's goal is to achieve the "no makeup- makeup look" and with just trying one of their makeup products- I must say it is true. They have done a fantastic job creating the perfect products. I will be purchasing the skin tint and other products shortly. Prep or Trends rating: 10/10 This post is not sponsored by Glossier. I just fell in love with their products.

Sundays are for... Reading Vogue and Drinking Coffee

Nothing wakes me up faster on a Sunday morning than the smell of coffee.  I grew up watching Gilmore Girls, and I promised myself I would never be like Lorelei.  But here I am now, obsessed with coffee, even drinking up to 6 cups a day.

I don't always have a lot of down time, with work, school, and college applications.  But Sundays are days reserved for me.  Days specifically meant for relaxation and me time.  My favorite way to celebrate me and treat myself is reading the latest issue of Vogue while lounging in my pajamas and drinking a nice cup of coffee.

Trends: Snakeskin Booties

Cheetah print used to be the hot it pattern, but it's 2016.  We need to say goodbye to the basic old cheetah printed clothing items we have from middle school and it's time to class up our outfits.  Snakeskin print has become popular now thanks to Rihanna and Lauren Elizabeth's 2016 Coachella look, and it's the subtle way to put some FUNK into your outfit while also maintaining that low-key cool girl vibe.  These boots from Free People are the perfect trendy statement piece that gives you the "I'm on my way to the rodeo" look when in reality you live in New York and your actually wearing a basic black turtleneck and sleek black topshop jeans.  It's 2016 people and we need to stop being afraid to try new trends and we need to put a hold on the all black outfits!  It's time to embrace our inner wild sides and spice up our outfits with trendy statement pieces.  You can bet that these boots will be a go to going out shoe from now on.
